Apple Roll

Ingredients:
Crust: 2 cups of flour
1/3 cup of softened butter
2/3 cup of milk
* or you can use 2 refrigerated pie crusts rolled out in one large rectangle shape

Filling:
3 Granny smith apples
¼ cup of sugar
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
½ stick of butter

Sauce: 1 cup of sugar
2 cups of water
¾ teaspoon of cinnamon
½ stick of butter





 
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, cut flour into softened butter with a pastry cutter until clumped pieces form. Stir in milk and form a ball of dough with your hands. Knead a little on a floured wax paper surface. Roll the dough out in a large rectangular shape on the floured wax papered surface. Peel, core and quarter all three apples. Slice apple quarters into very thin slices and lay flat, but overlapping
