Holiday Orange Pecans

Ingredients:
Toasted Orange Pecans
3 cups sugar
1 cup fresh orange juice (use fresh—it makes a difference)
2 tbsp orange zest
8 cups pecans
Instructions:
Line 2 baking sheets with foil. In saucepan, bring sugar, juice, and zest to boil—stir constantly. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in pecans. Pour onto prepared baking sheets. Let stand until firm, usually a few hours to dry. To serve, break into pieces.
Miscellaneous
Recipe can be halved. These pecans make excellent holiday gifts.
