Paying Bills Has Never Been Easier

Life is busy, and Arkansas Valley Electric Cooperative Corporation (AVECC) understands that providing multiple ways to pay your bills provides the convenience you deserve. Whether you prefer grabbing your phone to log into the mobile app, the simplicity of automatic payments (AutoPay) or the familiarity of mailing a check, AVECC offers a variety of secure payment options designed to make paying your bill easier than ever.

“We want to meet people where they are and make paying their bills as convenient as possible,” said Member Services Coordinator Brooke Becker.

Members can choose from several payment options, including online payments through SmartHub, the SmartHub mobile app, automatic bank draft, automatic credit card payments (AutoPay), pay-by-phone, mail-in payments, in-person payments at any AVECC office, payment kiosks throughout the cooperative’s service area and the newer Vanilla Direct payment option available at participating retailers. With so many choices, members can select the method that works best for their schedule and preferences.

Over the past several years, AVECC has seen more members embrace digital payment options.

“More members are choosing to pay online or through the mobile app because of how quick and convenient it is,” Becker said. “The biggest advantages are being able to pay anytime, from anywhere.”

Digital payments also help members avoid missed payments by allowing them to enroll in AutoPay or receive payment reminders. For busy families, these features provide added peace of mind by reducing the chance of late fees or service interruptions.

While some members may be hesitant to switch to online payments, Becker wants them to know that assistance is always available.

“We understand that some members are more comfortable paying by check or in person, but we can assure them our online payment system is secure and designed to protect their information,” she said. “We’ll also walk members through setting up SmartHub step by step if they need help.”

Beyond paying a bill, SmartHub gives members access to valuable account information. Users can monitor their daily or monthly electric usage, enroll in paperless billing, receive payment reminders, report outages and receive outage updates directly through the app.

“Our goal is to make paying your bill as simple and stress-free as possible,” Becker said.

Whether you’re ready to simplify your monthly routine with AutoPay or simply want to explore digital payment options, the AVECC Member Services team is ready to help. You can visit any local office or call Member Services for assistance in choosing the payment option that best fits your lifestyle.
