Colton Arnold - Student Athlete of the Week
Colton Arnold, Cedarville High School Senior is #StudentAthleteoftheWeek for Arkansas Valley Electric and Wave Rural Connect. Arnold is the running back and outside linebacker for the Senior High Pirates.
He explained that this past Friday night, he made a tie-breaking touchdown. “We were down in the red zone, our guys stayed mentally tough, they blocked well, and I punched in it.”
Arnold shared his appreciation for growing up in a rural community, “Cedarville has allowed me to know all the kids at my school and to feel connected with my coaches.” He continued, “In the last couple of years with our coach, we really have built this football program up, and it makes me proud to get to play in front of our fans.”
Arnold also explained how the team’s bond has developed throughout the 2022 season, “We have begun to work better together and I think it's just gonna allow us to come out with more wins.”
“Our main goal is to make the playoffs. We hope to have started a winning streak and finish the season strong.”
