GIS Analyst | 4.5 Years 

"I have been a GIS Analyst/UAS Pilot for AVECC for 4.5 years. As a GIS Analyst, I make sure the AVECC power grid is mapped correctly and adds new lines as they are built. I also help manage various software for the Cooperative. As a UAS Pilot for AVECC, I am responsible for flying ahead of linemen in disaster situations to find where system failure has occurred and report back what is found and needed to restore power. I also use drones to inspect poles and lines to ensure safety and reliability for our members.

My favorite thing about working at the Cooperative is that I get to work with great people that truly want to make a difference in their communities."
