Gage Woods - Plugging In Potential

Gage Woods | Lineman Intern

As a Spiro native and Oklahoma State University's Institute of Technology student, Gage is interning at AVECC's Pocola District this summer.

"I decided I wanted to be a lineman as a sophomore in High School," Gage explained.

This internship enabled Gage to complete the requirement of his fourth and final internship. He will graduate with an Associate in Applied Science as a High Voltage Line Technician at the end of August.

"It is a fun career," he shared. "I enjoy being in a different place all the time and not having to work inside. I would recommend it."

Gage explained that upon graduation, he hopes to return to the cooperative. "Everyone knows each other," he said. "I appreciate the relationship I have with my co-workers."
