Nathan is a Sophomore Electrical Engineering Major at Arkansas Tech University and interning at AVECC's Headquarters in the Engineering Department for the second summer.
After graduating college, Nathan hopes to return to his hometown of Ozark and feels that "Arkansas Valley is the perfect fit" for his career.
He expressed his appreciation for the crossover between his assignments in class and the hands-on experience in the internship. "The engineers do a great job at letting us [engineering interns] be involved in the lab and follow the process into the field. This summer, I've gathered knowledge about programming relays to working with the substation technicians."
"This internship has been a great experience for me," Nathan shared.
