AVECC Member Kennedy Holland wins Miss Arkansas!
"Being able to travel the state wearing 'Arkansas' across my chest is truly so special. It represents hundreds of thousands of really incredible people who grew up just like I did — in rural Arkansas. There’s something really exceptional about living away from the big cities and under the big sky. That’s the Arkansas I think of when I put on my crown and sash each day. I think of the young girls who grew up in areas that don’t have the same access to academic, financial or other resources for higher education and just how impactful the Miss Arkansas Scholarship Organization has been on my life, and how it could change the lives of so many young women from rural Arkansas. The outskirts of town raised me to be the woman I am today, and I am eternally grateful for that." -Kennedy Holland
