Capital Credit Notice

This year, AVECC’s Board of Directors voted to retire all patronage from 1999 and 2005, as well as a portion of 2012. The total amount being retired is more than $4.1 million. Members with patronage in these years can expect to see their capital credit retirement applied to their May electric bill.

For active members, all capital credit retirements will be issued as bill credits. To better align with members’ preferences, AVECC is transitioning to this more convenient method and will now apply bill credits to all active accounts receiving a retirement.
